This kit is one of our best sellers! The 40% Glycolic Acid Peel kit includes a concentrated 2 ounces of Glycolic Acid plus 2 ounces of Skin Prep Toner. This kit will give approximately 20-25 peels!
The 40% formula is the very same strength used by Physicians and Aestheticians.
This solution is the 2 oz. concentrated solution of pure pharmaceutical-grade Glycolic Acid.
The peel takes only 2 minutes!
The pH is 2.5 for maximum effectiveness and safety. The Glycolic Solution is not buffered down! Peels with a pH of 3.0 or more are not effective!
Kit contains all you need to do 20-25 professional peels at home: 2 oz. of concentrated Glycolic Acid Peel Solution, 2 oz. Skin Prep Toner, free sample of Whipped Camphor Cleanser, full instructions.

Glycolic Acid is used to accelerate the removal of rough outer skin, improving the skin's appearance and enhancing the results obtained with other skin care products.
Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, such as Glycolic Acid, are one of the safest methods of exfoliation and increasing skin turnover.
As we age, a number of skin changes occur which require different types of skin care and treatments.
One such change is that the rate of the skin cell replacement is reduced, producing a thinner, more fragile skin. Skin is replaced every three weeks at age 20 but this increases to every nine weeks by age 50.
The use of Glycolic Acid will help to stimulate and speed cell turnover, thereby producing more vibrant and younger-looking skin. The top layer of skin will be thinned by the exfoliation of dead cells, but in the deeper layers of skin, new collagen and elastin will be stimulated and the skin will actually become thicker, tighter and more firm, like younger skin.
When using Glycolic Acid for skin regeneration, stronger does not mean better! Glycolic Acid peels of higher stengths such as 50%-70% will only slightly speed the process, but the skin rebuilding induced by a 70% AHA chemical peel (which is costly and may cause scarring) in 3 months can be duplicated by a 7% AHA cream in 9 months, and by a 40% peel in just 3.5-4 months.
Thus, doing a peel yourself at home with strengths of 30% or 40%, will give you the same results as the higher strength peels, but the results take just slightly longer. Why pay more when you can get the same results in just a couple weeks longer than with a 70% Peel?
