Lactic Acid is used to accelerate the removal of rough outer skin, improving the skin's appearance and enhancing the results obtained with other skin care products.
Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, such as Lactic Acid, are one of the safest methods of exfoliation and increasing skin turnover.
As we age, a number of skin changes occur which require different types of skin care and treatments.
One such change is that the rate of the skin cell replacement is reduced, producing a thinner, more fragile skin. Skin is replaced every three weeks at age 20 but this increases to every nine weeks by age 50.
