This is a high-strength (4%) Salicylic Acid treatment product.
DermaPeel 4% Salicylic Acid Peeling Cream is a special formulation created to encourage skin rejuvenation as it diminishes acne, fine lines, sun damage & premature aging signs.
This product contains both Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid for maximum exfoliation.
Note: Skin peeling will begin to occur after few applications. If peel is severe, use Dermapeel only twice a week. If any other irritation occurs, please stop use immediately.
SPF 25 or 30 is required while using DermaPeel.
DIRECTIONS: Apply thin layer over clean skin once a week. Upgrade treatment as soon as skin will allow.
Caution: Dryness or irritation could occur while using other topical medications or acids.
This product could cause redness, dryness, peeling, or possible swelling.
If unsure about anything, consult your physician before using.
Caution: For those allergic or sensitive to Salicylic Acid - If you have allergies to salicylates (such as you cannot eat fruit), we recommend you use an alpha hydroxy acid such asGlycolic Acid or Lactic Acid instead.
Pregnancy Warning—Salicylic Acid may be absorbed through the mother's skin. Salicylic Acid has not been studied in pregnant women. However, studies in animals have shown that salicylic acid causes birth defects when given orally in doses about 6 times the highest dose recommended for topical use in humans. Before using this medicine, make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or if you may become pregnant, especially if you will be using salicylic acid on large areas of your body.
Other medical problems—The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of salicylic acid, especially if you are using a 4% or stronger salicylic acid preparation. Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems, especially:
