The Taklon brushes are synthetic. Taklon is a hair that is superior when working with cream and oil based products. The texture is smooth, yet firm. The hair has been compared to Kolinksy sable because of its spring back and resiliency. The Taklon brushes will take you from fine lining (wet or dry) to spreading concealer without pulling or stretching the skin.
Our brushes are never machine cut, they are all hand shaped to preserve the natural tip.
Nickel ferrules are used, opposed to aluminum ferrules. They give a more secure fit on the handle and have a high shine finish.
Handles are made from a close grain birchwood.
